America’s Boating Course

The Cape Cod Power Squadron (CCPS), a unit of the United States Power Squadrons (USPS), presents this course.

The course teaches how to skipper a boat with confidence. Anyone interested in recreational boating is encouraged to attend this public boating course which includes essential information for every level of boater. Students learn about: 

• Boat handling and & seamanship
• Required equipment
• Navigation rules of the road
• Knots, lines and docking
• Charts and aids to navigation
• Boat trailering and more 

Time: starts at 6:30 p.m. for March 20 only and 7 to 9 p.m. on subsequent classes
Date: March 20 and meets for 6 weeks on Tuesday evenings 
Place: Centerville-Osterville-Marston Mills fire station at 1875 Falmouth, Road, Centerville.
Cost: $55
